Short answer: cycling's charities and governing bodies are the most open employers in the industry about pay. They published a salary on 24 of the 25 roles we've tracked since December 2025, from £26,500 for regional development roles to £160,000 for a chief executive.
There's also one hourly role: National Cycle Network Fundraiser at Walk Wheel Cycle Trust, £13.85 an hour plus bonus.
Walk Wheel Cycle Trust published pay on all 12 of its roles, and Cycling UK and British Cycling on every role we saw. Scottish Cycling, new to the board this month, published pay on both of its roles. The only exception was a Partnership Manager role at the Bikeability Trust. Compare that with the biggest commercial brands on the board, which published pay on 2 of 44 roles over the same period.
Current roles are on the advocacy and policy jobs page and the events and operations jobs page. For marketing and comms pay across the whole industry, see cycling marketing salaries.
This guide uses UK roles at cycling charities and governing bodies that Jobs in Cycling has tracked on the employers' own careers pages since December 2025, live or closed. The same role at the same employer counts once. Club posts funded by Scottish Cycling but hired by individual clubs aren't included. Figures are shown as advertised, and pro rata figures are the full-time equivalent. Updated monthly alongside our Signals report.
