The Role
A design role within the Delivery and Infrastructure team, producing technical outputs for active travel schemes and taking straightforward projects from start to finish through all RIBA stages. The work runs from initial engagement with local communities through to deliverable design.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and reliable project outputs and deliverables
- Manage straightforward projects from start to finish through all RIBA stages
- Engage with internal colleagues, local communities and external partners to develop design solutions
- Contribute to business development through project proposals
What you'll need
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Highway Design, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or a clearly demonstrated equivalent specialism, plus two years' experience — or five years' relevant work experience
- Competence with design software including the AutoCAD suite and Civil 3D
- Working understanding of healthy street design guidance and inclusive design principles
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations
- Safeguarding awareness
