Muc-Off is hiring a Senior Engineering Machine Setter in Southampton to manage production line setup, changeovers and optimisation, with technical guidance to the wider team.
Responsibilities
- Configure, set up and run changeovers on production machinery
- Monitor and adjust machinery in real time during runs
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, pneumatic and electrical faults
- Carry out preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
- Train and guide Machine Setters and production crew
- Lead continuous improvement and process optimisation work
What you'll need
- Extensive experience as a machine setter or production technician
- Experience with automated or semi-automated machinery
- Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-diagnosis skills
- Technical documentation literacy
