The UK-wide active travel charity formerly known as Sustrans, delivering programmes that get people walking, wheeling and cycling across all four nations, including work on the National Cycle Network.

The Role

Leads low-risk behaviour change, engagement, design and infrastructure projects for the Active Journeys Scotland team, based in Glasgow with travel across the Strathclyde region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead low-risk behaviour change, engagement, design and infrastructure projects
  • Manage delegated project budgets
  • Provide specialist behaviour change and engagement advice
  • Build relationships with key local stakeholders across Strathclyde

What you'll need

  • Understanding of active travel and the inequalities affecting different communities
  • Experience delivering behaviour change and engagement work
  • Health and safety management expertise
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects
  • Ability to promote the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable groups
