This role focuses on the repair, servicing, and build of bicycles within Trek’s Manchester operation. As a senior technician on the shop floor, you’ll take responsibility for complex repairs, quality control, and supporting the wider workshop team.
The position combines hands-on technical work with leadership, communication, and customer-facing responsibility.
What you’ll be doing
- Building and repairing bicycles to a high standard
- Completing a significant proportion of complex workshop repairs
- Acting as a lead technician within the service team
- Ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality across all builds and repairs
- Supporting customers and colleagues with technical expertise
- Maintaining workshop standards and processes
What you’ll need
- Several years’ experience in a bicycle service or workshop environment
- Strong technical repair and build skills
- Confidence handling complex mechanical issues
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A consistent, detail-focused approach to workshop work
