About Velogik UK
Velogik UK is the UK arm of the Velogik Group, a B Corporation and France's largest micromobility fleet management company. The group currently manages over 60,000 assets across schemes including Vélib' in Paris and the largest bike share scheme in Scotland, based in Glasgow. The company is expanding across the UK and France.
The Role
An on-street operative role maintaining and rebalancing Voi e-bikes across Edinburgh. Day-to-day work covers battery swapping, light maintenance, and redistribution of bikes across the scheme using a company van. The role works as part of a small team, reporting to the Hub Manager, and is measured against agreed KPIs.
This is a permanent night shift position: 22:00–08:00, working a 4-on 3-off pattern (Saturday to Tuesday).

Responsibilities
- Distribute and rebalance Voi e-bikes from the central hub across the Edinburgh scheme
- Carry out battery swaps and light maintenance on street
- Maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment to a high standard
- Log all maintenance and repair activity via smartphone and digital platforms
- Adhere to Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Represent Velogik professionally when interacting with the public and clients
- Support wider Velogik operations including events and Dr Bike workshops as required
What you'll need
- UK driving licence with at least 1 year of van driving experience (fewer than 6 points)
- Basic knowledge of bicycle mechanics — workshop or hobbyist level is fine
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods, including night hours year-round
- Good local knowledge of Edinburgh
- Experience following Health & Safety procedures
- Right to live and work in the UK
Nice to have
- Background in bicycle retail, workshop, logistics, or fleet management
- Familiarity with the social and environmental context of shared mobility
