Halfords is looking for a Cycle Technician to join the team in Marley, Keighley. This role focuses on delivering high-quality bike servicing and repairs across a wide range of bikes — from kids’ and commuter bikes through to premium, performance, and electric cycles.
It’s a customer-facing role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in doing things properly, and is confident sharing knowledge with others.
What you’ll be doing
- Servicing, repairing, and building a wide range of bicycles
- Delivering a high standard of customer service
- Helping customers maintain and get the most from their bikes
- Sharing technical knowledge with colleagues
- Working to quality and service targets
- Supporting the wider store team as needed
What they’re looking for
- Experience servicing and repairing bicycles
- Confidence working with different types of bikes, including e-bikes
- Strong customer service skills
- Willingness to share expertise and support team development
- Comfortable working to targets
- Availability to work on a rota, including weekends
Retail or workshop experience is helpful, but strong practical skills and the right attitude are equally important.
Pay
- £12.61 per hour (age 21+)
- £10.40 per hour (under 21)
