The Role
The Buyer will lead the procurement planning team, keeping stock levels aligned to demand forecasts and managing supplier relationships across the business. The role covers purchase order management, cost reduction and supplier consolidation, working closely with technical compliance, artwork, costing and distribution teams.

Responsibilities
- Direct a procurement planning team to keep stock levels aligned with demand forecasts
- Set KPIs to track team performance and drive continuous improvement
- Manage the supplier base, running periodic reviews to negotiate pricing
- Lead quarterly business reviews and regular supplier meetings
- Identify cost reductions across logistics and the wider supply chain
- Develop dual-sourcing strategies to reduce supplier dependency risk
- Manage the purchase order process from analysis through to execution
- Lead supplier consolidation projects and support global sourcing initiatives
What you'll need
- Experience in procurement and supplier management
- Experience with SAP or another MRP system, plus Microsoft Office
- Strong stakeholder communication skills
- A flexible, adaptable approach to varied procurement activities
- A problem-solving orientation with a focus on continuous improvement
