This full-time workshop role focuses on high-end bike servicing, suspension work, and bike builds across Tweed Valley Bikes’ two workshop locations. You’ll work on customer bikes, shop stock, and demo builds, with quality and accuracy central to the role.
The position suits an experienced mechanic or suspension technician who can work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high mechanical standards.
What you’ll be doing
- Carrying out high-end servicing on customer bikes, including e-bike diagnostics and repairs
- Performing suspension servicing on forks, shocks, and seatposts in line with manufacturer guidance
- Building bikes for customers, shop stock, and demo fleets, including pre-delivery inspections
- Managing workshop bookings, workflow, and daily scheduling
- Sourcing parts for service jobs and maintaining accurate workshop records
- Supporting stock control for service spares, tools, and consumables
- Handling customer enquiries across multiple channels
- Completing warranty work where required
- Working closely with management to ensure workshop standards are met
What you’ll need
- Previous experience as a bicycle mechanic or suspension technician (essential)
- High attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, high-quality work
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confidence using workshop systems and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence (required for company vehicle use)
Experience with suspension servicing, e-bike diagnostics, or Cytech qualifications is beneficial but not essential.
